The company driver will pick you up from the airport on the day of your arrival. He will drive you to your hotel where you will have a short rest before you are briefed on your safari for the next day. He will then let you have a good night rest preparing yourself for your ultimate African Adventure the following day.

We’ll take an early breakfast, as we’ve got a big day of exploration and adventure ahead of us! We will begin the day with a drive towards the Serengeti. Along the way, we will pass through the rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you might be lucky enough to glimpse Cape buffalo, baboons, or even elephants and leopards in the dense undergrowth. Witness Africa’s iconic savannah landscape and be amazed by the sheer number of animals that roam these grassy plains. Before the sun sets we shall drive to our lodge for an overnight.

Today we spend the entire day at the Serengeti. Going for a game drive in the morning to catch up with the morning wildlife. We shall return to our lodge at noon for lunch and a short rest. We then shall resume our game drive. Lions are abundant at Serengeti National Park. With a lucky day we may be able to catch up with hunting cheetahs. We shall then head back to our lodge for an overnight.

You will travel to the Lake Manyara National Park in the morning after breakfast, one of the smallest but most diverse parks in Tanzania. The shallow and alkaline Lake Manyara covers a large area of the park and it is the seasonal home to thousands of flamingos – an awesome (pink) sight. More than 500 other bird species are also found here as well as mammal. Troops of monkeys live in the forests, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras and wildebeests on the grassy plains and elephants and lions in the acacia woodlands. From the open roof of the vehicle you will be able to watch the animals and absorb the landscape. After an extensive game drive and a picnic lunch, you will leave the park to make your way to the cooler regions of the Ngorongoro highlands.
